HomeWork Plus
Many families are challenged to ensure that their children are completing their homework in a timely and accurate manner and that, in doing their homework, they are learning what they need to learn.
Our program HomeWork Plus is designed to help.
Students enrolled in HomeWork Plus come to our Center up to 4 times a week for guided assistance in completing their homework.
Our HomeWork Plus program specifically provides:
- careful, dedicated tracking of homework assignments to ensure successful completion
- guided assistance in completing homework from our tutoring staff
- help in the development of student organizational and study skills
Standard hours for HomeWork Plus are Monday-Thursday, 3:00pm-7:00pm.
HomeWork Plus is intended for students in elementary and middle schools. We have a separate, comparable tutoring and directed study program for high school students.
We develop and implement an individual HomeWork Plus plan for each student. The first step in enrollment for each student is an initial free consultation with our tutoring staff, during which the student's needs and goals are assessed and addressed. Many of our students come more than once a week and our fee structure (available on request) is designed to encourage and support multiple sessions. For students needing additional assistance, we also can combine HomeWork Plus with our tutoring and/or Basic Plus programs.
