Home School
We are very attuned to, familiar with, and supportive of home schooling.
We offer a number of educational services and products of value to home school families.
- Tutoring: Often home school families can use help with specific subjects, such as math and science. We offer a full range of tutoring services. We have extensive experience working with home school families and believe in developing a tailored, individual tutoring plan for each home school student.
- Test Preparation: Our test preparation program, which is based on one-on-one instruction, is readily accessible to and especially suited for home school students.
- Basics Plus: This program, which can serve as a supplement to either in school or home school instruction, is designed to aid students in mastering key language arts and math skills.
- Enrichment Classes: During the school year, we conduct enrichment classes in 8-week fall, winter, and spring cycles at our Center. The classes provide home school students an opportunity to learn about interesting and meaningful topics in concert with other students.
- Summer Camp: Our summer camp provides students the opportunity to participate in chess; imedia; video game-making; and robotics, rocketry, and other science programs in a fun, engaging, hands-on learning environment.
- Learning Resources: On our website we maintain a wide array of online resources that provide access to learning aids and tools, research, and information.
- MLC Store: Starting in Fall 2011, we will be offering a range of educational products through our online store, mlcstore.com.
We are always seeking to improve and expand our support for home school families. Please check back often for our latest initiatives and programs.
