Girls Who Code
Our Girls Who Code club is a free, afterschool activity for girls in grades 6 to 12.
Our club is a chapter in the national Girls Who Code organization. As such, we are part of a movement to inspire girls to become involved in STEM, to introduce them to computer science, and to equip them with 21st-century computing skills.
Our club meets Mondays or Fridays afternoon from 4:00-6:00 at our MLC STEM Center at 360 Bloomfield Avenue in Montclair.
We meet for 10 weeks in the Spring. The dates for Spring 17 are March 20 to May 26 (no class the week of April 17th).
Our curriculum and activities take a hands-on, project-based approach to learning. The focus is on exploring coding and developing hard computer science skills in a fun and friendly environment.
The Spring registration is now open. Email us for registration info at firstname.lastname@example.org.
